JFTP - Installation Guide
- Download the appropriate Setup executable (.exe file) for Windows
- Double click on the downloaded file to start the installation
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation
- Launch JFTP by using one of the shortcuts created by the installer
- Download the appropriate Disk Image for Mac OS X
- Mount the Disk Image by double clicking on the downloaded file
- Double click on JFTP Installer to start the installation
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation
- Launch JFTP by using one of the shortcuts created by the installer
- Download the appropriate Setup executable (.sh file) for Linux
- Mark the downloaded file as an executable, if needed
- Double click on the downloaded file to start the installation
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation
- Launch JFTP by using one of the shortcuts created by the installer
- Install JRE 1.6 or later
- Download the appropriate Setup executable (.sh file) for Solaris/AIX/HP-UX
- Mark the downloaded file as an executable, if needed
- Run the downloaded file by either double clicking on the file or by running it from the
Terminal
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation
- Launch JFTP by using one of the links created by the installer
- Install JRE 1.6 or later on the target system
- Download the Platform-neutral installer (.zip or .tar.gz file)
- Extract the contents of the downloaded archive to a directory of choice
- Launch JFTP by using one of the following methods:
- Double clicking on jftp-[version].jar located in the installation directory
- Running the command java -jar jftp-[version].jar from a Terminal
